Fall ‘into’ Phoenix, one of my favorite times of the year with one of my favorite artists. On this particular day, I needed some rest and movement away from my concerns, worries and the How’s of life ( How will I, How am I going to, How can this, you get the gist), so I took some time to be outdoors at the Desert Botanical Gardens. To my surprise, the Chihuly Glass exhibit was being assembled and I was lucky enough to be among some of Chihuly’s masterpieces, again.

Chihuly’s art is beautiful and vibrant with majestic heights and shapes. These pieces are so big, that they work wonderfully with nature herself. This is a blending of the Yin and Yang, the Feminine elements of Nature with the Masculine of man-made material some with smooth lines and others jagged. Each complementary to the other, making it Whole.

Chihuly’s pieces represent (to me) living vibrantly, in color, being bold, taking in Life, being apart of Life and connecting to one’s own creativity, one’s life force within.

I’m not a professional photographer, so I couldn’t capture the beauty as if the pieces were right in front of you, but I still wanted to share.

Being among such beauty and majesty of such great art and nature allowed for more breath, more connection, and more stillness in the Awe of Life.
